In 1928, Vic Hanson was a huge draw for the Cleveland Rosenblums. As an All-American basketball, football and baseball player at Syracuse University, Vic amassed a huge following of fans. After a money dispute with Max Rosenblum, owner of the Cleveland Rosenblums, Hanson came home and started his own pro team with former teammates and friends. Those same fans would crowd the West Jefferson Street Armory to see Vic and his boys play some of the top teams of their day.
